1. Introduction

By accessing or using JamboStay, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. These govern your use of our platform, whether you're booking accommodation or listing a property.

2. Platform Use

• JamboStay connects travelers with locally-owned accommodation in East Africa.
• You must be at least 18 years old to make bookings or list properties.
• You agree not to misuse the platform, including attempting unauthorized access or interfering with listings.

3. Booking & Payment

• All bookings are subject to availability and host confirmation.
• Prices are displayed in local currency and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Payments are processed securely via trusted third-party providers. JamboStay does not store full payment details.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

• Cancellation policies vary by property and are clearly stated on each listing.
• Refunds, if applicable, are processed according to the host’s cancellation terms.
• JamboStay may mediate disputes but does not guarantee refunds.
• Service fees and applicable taxes are non-refundable and are not subject to the property owner's cancellation policy.

5. Host Responsibilities

• Hosts must provide accurate property information, pricing, and availability.
• Hosts are responsible for maintaining safe, clean, and legal accommodations.
• JamboStay may suspend or remove listings that violate platform standards.

6. Traveler Responsibilities

• Travelers must respect host property rules and local customs.
• Any damage caused during a stay may result in additional charges.
• JamboStay reserves the right to suspend accounts for abusive behavior or fraud.

7. Liability

• JamboStay is a booking facilitator and does not own or operate listed properties.
• We are not liable for personal injury, property damage, or other losses incurred during stays.
• Users agree to indemnify JamboStay against claims arising from misuse of the platform.

8. Privacy

Your data is handled in accordance with our Privacy & Cookies Policy. We do not sell personal data and only share it with trusted partners for operational purposes.

9. Changes to Terms

JamboStay may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes implies acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Tanzania. Any disputes shall be resolved in Tanzanian courts unless otherwise agreed.
